Service Description
The Eagle Nest Lake boat tour is a great way to explore the area’s natural history, including biodiversity and geology, as well as the unique relationship between the Nothern and Southern Rocky Mountains, Eagle Nest Dam and the watershed below the Cimarron Canyon. You’ll also learn about the surrounding wildlife habitat and enjoy views of Wheeler, Baldy and Touch Me Not peaks. The tours are approximately 1.5 hours long and are offered daily starting June 20th – September 30th, weather permitting. The boat tours start at the south boat launch of Eagle Nest Lake State Park. The Eagle Nest Lake State Park Learning Center has picturesque walking trails, a restroom and an interpretive center. Come join us for a beautiful and informative tour of this great natural resource.
